PRE BOARDING AGREEMENT


To Whom It May Concern:

On this day, Captain Daniel Moore Marine Services, hereafter referred to
as CDMMS, does agree to perform the following services for
_______________________________________.
CDMMS will, with rightful owner(s)’ permission, board and inspect the
following named vessel:

She is described as _____________________________________

A pre-purchase inspection will be performed.

The following items and systems will be visually inspected and a
description of their condition reported:

1.        Deck ( Hammer sounded and tested for moisture by electronic
means, unless otherwise noted in report)
2.        Exterior hull above waterline
3.        Exterior hull below waterline, if vessel is hauled
4.        Hull building material and structural members will be described
5.        Rudder, propeller and other wetted surface gear, if vessel is hauled
6.        Steerage compartment and associated gear
7.        Bilge and pumps
8.        Cabin appointments, if a cabin vessel
9.        Navtronics and other electronic gear will be powered to prove  
operational, but not tested for accuracy or precision
10.        Shore power, if available, will be employed to prove operation of
120 VAC appliances
11.        Ground tackle
12.        Engine and gearboxes will be observed in operation and
described as to make and model, if that information is readily available.
Evaluation of engine and gearbox condition should be determined by a
qualified marine mechanic.
13.        Safety and emergency gear aboard at time of survey
14.        An essay will describe the layout below decks as to berth number
and locations of head, galley, steering stations, berths
and other pertinent furnishings
15.        Photographs, of electronic origin will accompany the finished
survey report
16.        Canvas and canvas covered kit

Furthermore,
a.         Sea trial will take place whereby the boat will be sailed under
power and sail, if appropriate, and observations will be reported.
b.         An estimate as to the vessel’s fair market value will be provided.  
This will be average value as reported by  www.soldboats.com
with any adjustments as CDMMS deems appropriate based on their
experience and observed deviations from the normal case
found on-board this vessel.  These deviations will be noted in survey
report.
c.         CDMMS will use reasonable means  to provide an  electronic copy
of report within 24 hours of actual survey inspection.            



As prospective buyer or other interested party of above named vessel I
hereby agree to the conditions noted above. Furthermore, I agree to
hold harmless CDMMS for any future defects or failings as may be
realized and are not likely to be rendered observable using the above
described technique.
These defects and/or failings may include but are not be limited to:
1.        Glass Reinforced Plastic manufacturer’s failings and/or unreported
repairs regarding improper scarfs and/or improper laminate/resin
mix/ratios.
2.        Repairs performed but not disclosed by previous owner(s).
3.        Machinery, including but not limited to engine(s) and gearbox(s).
4.        Water intrusion to deck, hull or deck/hull joints other than as can
be detected via low frequency moisture meter detection on day of
survey.

LIABILITY: In no event, shall any liability exceed the amount of fee
charged for survey.

The fee to be charged for said survey inspection, electronic and paper
copy of report is: ________________________________ .
